The Illinois Bar Exam lasts two days.  On the first of the Illinois Bar Exam, a Multistate Performance Test question, six Multistate Essay Examination questions, and three Illinois state law questions are given.  On the second day, the Multistate Bar Exam is administered. 

The essays count for 43% of your score one the Illinois Bar Exam.  The MPT counts for 7% and the MBE counts for 50% of your total score on the Illinois Bar Exam.

In addition to passing the Illinois Bar Exam, an applicant must attain a scaled score of 80 on the MPRE.  Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Free Online MPRE Review Course.
